HEART OF THE CITY
Around the corner of the apparthotel, you will find the heart of the city, with bigger as well as smaller stores, with cafés and restaurants, several city parks and a ton of museums. At a walking distance from Oranjestaete there are also a number of characteristic places, inextricably tied to Nijmegen. Think of the Grote Markt, Plein 1944 (recently renewed with some stores and cafés), Museum Het Valkhof and the Waalkade. For shows you can visit the Schouwburg or De Vereniging.

GET LOST IN NATURE
Are you rather in search for some peace and quiet? We have some amazing bicycling and walking routes through Het Ooij. It’s an incredibly beautiful nature reserve. The spacious set up of the Goffertpark is easy to reach by bicycle. The surroundings of Nijmegen are a variety of cute little villages, green polders and wooded areas between the hills.
